Activities are classified into groups of activities. Each group contains a certain number of activities that are consistent with each other and that can be added in one license.

Trade name reservation is extended for a maximum of 6 months (total reservation period). The first time, it is extended two months for a fee of AED 200, and the second time two additional months for a fee of AED 200. It can be extended for a period of 4 months in one payment for a fee of AED 400, provided that the trade name is extended before the expiration date of the trade name reserved.

No, site inspection has become non-mandatory. Upon submitting the request, all the conditions that must be met at the license headquarters will appear on the terms and conditions page in accordance with the requirements of the RAK-DED Commercial Control Section. However, the service is available upon the customer’s request at a fee of AED 150 for normal request and AED 350 for urgent one.

E-dirham cards are available at Tasheel centers in the UAE, the financial limit of which does not exceed AED 3,000.
For higher financial limit, e-dirham cards shall be provided by one of the following banks:

- First Abu Dhabi Bank
- Commercial Bank of Dubai

Violations could be viewed by logging into RAK Business Platform using the digital ID (UAE PASS) by one of the license representatives (owner, partner, manager, or service agent). The violations will appear on the main page classified according to the type of violation and the total value.

The original copy of a license is available on the electronic account of the license representatives (owner, partner, manager, or service agent). They can access their account, which is linked to RAK Business Platform, by using the digital ID (UAE PASS), where they can print the license at any time and without any fees.

The deposit is refundable while the bank guarantee is non-refundable except after canceling the license.
